Northumberland Community Enterprise
Stobhill Link is about making connections in the local neighbourhood in order to empower people, so they can improve their lives and that of the population living in Stobhill and surrounding communities. We already provide an employment resources service for individuals seeking employment, to help to get access to training and assist with referrals to the local food bank.
Our projects are designed to offer social inclusion and to address the health and wellbeing of people who are disabled as well as those who are more able. We provide practical advice and support on disability issues. We also offer;
Free NHS Hearing Aid Batteries
Information & Signposting
Stobhill Link is also the local contact for RePaint, for more information click here. We are aiming to engage the local community to develop, plan and run groups for mutual support and interests. We already run two allotment projects in Morpeth and Bedlington, which encourages collaboration with others to learn how to grow their own food. The overall aim is to encourage participation to improve the quality of life in the Stobhill community.
Our Mission statement is as follows:
“To develop and implement creative community-based strategies to enhance economic opportunity, build strong neighbourhoods, and ensure a dynamic framework for quality growth and development of people”
